BOOKS AND OTHER MATERIALS: The Friends need your books, CDs, videos, talking books, DVDs, sheet music and computer software that are clean and in good condition for our Annual and On-Going Book Sales. Magazine donations are limited to magazines published from 2008 onward.  Please no textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, or computer books more than ten years old.

Proceeds from our sales benefit the Edmonds Public Library and FEL Scholarship Fund. Donations are accepted year-round in the drop box located in the library foyer. Donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

Unable to deliver your donation to the library or have an unusual item? For assistance or more information, call Laura at 425-672-2150 or Bea O’Rourke, bjorourke2@verizon.net who can arrange a pickup for four or more boxes.

MEMORIAL & GIFT FUND: We are pleased to accept cash donations to our Memorial & Gift Fund.  Donations can be made in the name of someone the giver wishes to remember.  Gifts of $50 or more entitle the giver to have their name on a plaque located in the library. Unrestricted gifts are used for books and furniture for the Edmonds Library as decided by the FEL Board.  Alternatively, the donor may designate where the proceeds should be spent as long as the designation follows Sno-Isle policy which is available on request. SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Gifts to the scholarship fund will be used to help fund our annual scholarship to a worthy graduate student in library science at the University of Washington School of Information. Donations are tax deductible under the same terms as book donations.
